The rules for using this site. Mostly plain English, because nobody has time to decode legalese.

Welcome to GameHazards. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, you are technically required to close the tab, though I won't know either way.

Plain English: This is a personal site — it's just me (Mercer), not a company or team. I write about PC hardware and the gaming industry. I do my best to be accurate, but please don't make major life decisions based solely on my articles.

What GameHazards Does

GameHazards provides news, analysis, and commentary on:

  • → PC hardware technology (GPUs, CPUs, RAM, storage)
  • → Semiconductor industry trends and manufacturing
  • → Gaming industry news and studio developments

This is an independent site. I'm not affiliated with any hardware manufacturer or game publisher, which means I get to tell you exactly what I think.

Market Analysis & Predictions

My analysis articles may include predictions about future hardware prices, market trends, or industry movements. These are opinions based on available data, not guarantees.

Tech markets are highly volatile. If you decide to panic-buy a GPU because of my guesses, that's on you. Do your own research.

Monetization

How this site stays online:

  • Display Ads: I show ads through Google AdSense. Yes, they can be annoying, but they pay the hosting bills.

I do not post deal lists, and I have zero affiliate links. If I link to a product, it's because it's cool or terrible, not because I'm getting a kickback.

Content Ownership & Use

All original content on GameHazards (articles, analysis, graphics) is my intellectual property unless otherwise noted.

You may:

  • ✓ Quote brief excerpts (with a link back)
  • ✓ Enjoy the reading

You may not:

  • ✗ Republish full articles without permission
